Sales Representative

Job Summary

Helping individuals and families protect their financial future by providing them with the appropriate life insurance, health, and pension coverage tailored to their needs and goals.

   Responsibilities include:

  1. Client Consultation: Meeting with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and protection needs.

  2. Presentation of solutions: Educating clients about different types of life insurance solutions, such as term life, whole life, and universal life, and recommending suitable options based on their circumstances.

  3. Closing Sales: Selling life insurance solutions to clients and helping them complete the necessary paperwork to initiate coverage.

  4. Periodic Review and Adjustment: Periodically reviewing clients' protection needs and recommending adjustments to their portfolio as their circumstances change, such as marriage, the birth of children, or career advancement.

  5. Customer Service: Providing ongoing customer service and support to clients, including addressing inquiries, processing claims, and assisting with policy changes or updates.

  6. Prospecting and Networking: Actively prospecting for new clients through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts to expand their client base.

  7. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards, including licensing requirements and adherence to insurance laws.

  8. Continuous Education: Staying updated on industry trends, new solutions, and changes in regulations through ongoing training and professional development.


EDUCATIONAL AND ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:


A minimum educational background of five “O” Levels (Including Maths and English) or three “A” Levels is mandatory, together with a post Secondary Level Certification.

Our preference is to attract people with an educational background in Psychology, Commerce, Sociology, Accounting, Administration, Finance, Communications, Marketing, Legal, Economics, Engineering, Education, Labour Relations or Human Relations.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

MARKETING; SALES; MANAGEMENT; OWNERSHIP OF A SMALL BUSINESS,
BANKING, TEACHING, COACHING, ACCOUNTING, LEGAL, ADMINISTRATION,
HOTEL OR OTHER PUBLIC SERVICE, PERSONNEL.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

A valid driver's permit
Ownership of a roadworthy vehicle
