An established company in The Bahamas is presently considering applications for a Project Manager.
The position is open to candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, from an Accredited Institution
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
Must have project management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and AutoCAD.
Must be able to Develop detailed designs
Must be able to oversee construction and rebuilding
Must be able to plan and oversee the maintenance of roads
Must be able to do assessments and site inspections
Must be able to prepare and implement project plans
Must be able to manage changes to the project scope, project schedule
Must be able to manage relationships with the client and all stakeholders
Must be able to perform risk management to minimize project risk
Must be able to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Must be able to perform engineering duties
Must be able to oversee the construction and maintenance of building structures and facilities
Must ensure that construction standards are met.
Must be a “problem solver” with an eye for detail
Must have the ability to identify priorities, and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Provide direction and support to the project team
Must possess good communication skills
Must be able to multitask.
